 Since 2006 Nixwárd (Nick Zwart) develops virtual educational applications in online 3D worlds like Second Life and OpenSim. This kind of virtual education is a new and challenging way of teaching.

 For 'Digitale school', a Dutch educational institute, Nixwárd researched the possibilities of using virtual worlds like Second Life for education.  Founded in 2009, virtyou GmbH is a company focussing on media convergence in 3D interactive worlds.
virtyou are currently active in Opensim, Twinity™ and Second Life™. virtyou is a registered Full Service Solution Provider at Linden Lab™ since 2007 (formerly Primforge Group).

Nixwárd promotes the virtyou environments for the Dutch speaking market and is virtyou's education specialist. virtyou hosts several educational regions like: Sloodle for Opensim, a copy of Devil Island Mystery, Chatterdale and Parolay language villages, Niflar Spain and Niflar Asterix village.
